I work with lenses every day. I know what damages them, and I know what most cleaning products on the market are quietly doing wrong.
I'm an Optical Technician working in a professional London glazing lab. My work involves understanding lens coatings, indexes, and the glazing process that turns a prescription into a pair of glasses. I've seen first-hand how the wrong cleaning product degrades coatings over time. The coatings that cost people hundreds of pounds.
And then I'd look online. Cheap sprays on marketplaces. Generic bottles with no ingredient list. Even major opticians selling products that, frankly, I wouldn't recommend to anyone who cares about their lenses.
So I built what I wished existed.
Lensora is one product. One formula. Developed with the knowledge of someone who actually works inside the optics industry, not someone who found a supplier and slapped a label on a bottle.
We launched with one product because we believe in doing one thing exceptionally well. The bottle is aluminium because plastic felt wrong for something designed to last. The formula is alcohol-free because I know what alcohol does to lens coatings.
The formula is 98.45% purified water, a mild surfactant, and a globally approved preservative. No alcohol. No ammonia. No mystery ingredients. We publish the full list because we have nothing to hide.
